Get to know Ninna
I am the Founding Director of circular economy social enterprise, Reground. Reground is part of a fantastic community that is changing the way Australia thinks about waste, resource recovery, and the circular economy. I founded Reground on the simple, strong belief that ground coffee (a rich organic resource which Australia has historically sent to landfill) should never go to waste. By partnering with Melbourne's best cafes and coffee roasters, our team has established a thriving circular economy for coffee that directs it back into the soil at local gardens instead.
Although we are best known as Australia's first ground coffee recycling service, Reground's consulting, education, and advocacy work has grown to encompass all kinds of innovation and problem-solving in the waste, sustainability, and behaviour change space.
As a leader, I believe that truly impactful organisations are made up of healthy, happy people who are able to bring their best and most authentic selves into their workplace. At Reground, we are cultivating an environment where personal and professional growth can overlap. Reground is a place that supports people to shine while doing the hard work that systemic and social change require.
